THE black mambas, south africa

The Black Mambas remains one of the most meaningful projects I’ve worked on. In 2023, I was commissioned to create a short film about South Africa’s nature and wildlife, and while it offered the chance to fulfil a lifelong dream of filming African wildlife, I knew I couldn’t replicate the kind of sweeping, observational storytelling I’d grown up with on series like Big Cat Diary or Planet Earth - especially in just five days of filming. Instead, I searched for a different through-line, and discovered the Black Mambas: the world’s first all-female anti-poaching unit. After years of visiting Kruger Park and witnessing the devastating impact of poaching, I was immediately drawn to this extraordinary group of women and their efforts to protect the wildlife I hold so dear. As of 2025, the film has 2M views on YouTube.

Escape to verbier, switzerland

Escape to Verbier is a story about stepping away from the noise, finding inspiration through others, and rediscovering freedom, friendship, and the reasons we create. After feeling burnt out at the end of 2023, all I wanted was to escape to the mountains, snowboard, and spend time with friends. What began as a simple reset quickly evolved into something more: a collaborative creative project, supported by Verbier Tourisme and Audi, that brought together a group of creators to capture that shared sense of renewal.
